We wanted to make sure and cover all the bases by offering this "run of the mill" porch swing -- it's an old work horse. Nothing fancy, just a sturdy swing.
The most tedious part of the project is cutting the 20 straight seat slats. Other than that, the irregularly shaped pieces are traceable from full size patterns, a list of materials helps the trip to the lumber store, photos are provided during the construction process, instructions for building, plus 800 help.
With patience even the beginner can be successful with this project. Some tool knowledge is assumed by the plans. Easily made in one weekend.
