We have had this Nativity Scene for several years. Our neighbors always look forward to us putting it up. One year a neighbor dropped by with a gift basket full of coffee beverages and fruit and told us how much she enjoyed the Nativity every year. She told us her father passed away right before Christmas, and whenever she sees us putting up the Nativity, she thinks of her father because he loved it.

We have a large back yard that is seen across a common area as you enter our subdivision. We live up on a hill. We have a large lighted star on an old TV antenna push up pole that is about 35 or 40 feet up in the air above the Nativity Scene.

This is a great Nativity set, and the fact that we did it ourselves makes it all the better.

TIP: Instead of ply-wood, I used MBO board that is used for making signs. It's lighter than plywood and if sealed properly will last for years. I used half inch conduit for my stakes in the ground, and I put the clamps for attaching conduit to walls on the back of my figures. All I have to do is drive the conduit in the ground, I use a rubber mallet so as not to flare out the top of the aluminum conduit, then drop my figures right on the posts.

There are 4 flood lights that illuminate the scene, plus I have an old drop light mounted in the stable to illuminate Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.

We love this Nativity and so do all of our neighbors.
