A "Mountain Cabin" would be a luxury for any child. Build the cabin and watch it get hours of use, plucking the imagination strings of your special kids.
There are many modifications that you will imagine and implement while you're making this two or three weekend project. We've had many photos of finished cabins sent in by satisfied customers with happy kids and grandkids. Doc from Tennessee used cedar lap siding and real shingles for his granddaughter's cabin and unfortunately he says he hardly sees her because she's always playing!
Cabin sits on a 6' square frame and is able to be expanded width-wise easily if you'd like to make a wider inner room and porch. Great project.
