The drawers of this project are non-functional. The plans help you build the pictured hope chest which has ample storage capacity. You can use cherry, oak, or even birch for the outside, then line the inside with cedar planking for appearance and authentic cedar chest aroma to keep your blankets smelling fresh.
Makes a great beginner's project, as it is mostly straight cuts with simple joinery. You get large measured drawings which list all dimensions, an instruction booklet for extra help, and a list of materials needed.
Finished chest is 18" tall, 50" wide, 20" deep.
