Here is a sturdy, roomy, and simple to build porch swing. The beginner and weekend builder will have no problems constructing the swing itself OR the uniquely fashioned Mission A-Frame. This plan is adapted from a 100 year old design the distinct feature of which was the split A-Frame.
The swing itself is a hearty 5' wide and if you don't feel like making the A-Frame (which stands 7' tall), you can simply hang the swing under a porch. You are provided with a complete list of materials, including chain lengths needed, easy to read and understand measured drawings, many photos taken during the construction process, plus instructions and our customer support.
