Another good set of plans. I made the "Roaring Rocker" for my grandson as a present last Christmas so decided home made was the way forward this year, so much better than the mass produced plastic ride on toys that can be bought. As we live in the UK the cost of shipping the metal parts was very expensive so I had a local forge make them. A tip if you decide to go this way is have the connecting bars and washer fitted before the bending begins as it is very difficult to get the correct size holes and washers around the bends. The mechanism for tipping is different from the picture and to my mind an improvement, so, well done.
The plans are easily followed but just a few extra explanations would have made life a little easier for me, a person not used to working from plans. However nothing a bit of thinking about it didnt solve. I copied the yellow paint theme as my grandson is "into" JCB toys. As his initials are TJC I plagiarised the JCB logo with the letter TJC.
I also made 200 different sizes bricks from 25m sq. timbers, quite a lot of cutting and sanding but so much better than shop bough plastic bricks?
