You start with a flat back panel, that's an out line of the scarecrow, then affix other parts like the scarf on top of the flat cut out -- this gives the interesting look of depth to the project. You can have him done in just one weekend, including drying times. It's a unique building process which is easy for any skill level of woodworker or crafter.

We doubt that this scarecrow will do his "original" job too well (scaring away birds), but we guarantee he will do his new job perfectly -- delighting visitors.
