Fully extended, with leaf, the table length reaches 88". The simple-to-build table is good for large family gatherings where serving food is necessary. Plywood construction is called for, so it can be built inexpensively, or you can transfer the construction to solid wood. The two halves pull back and the leaf is placed. Build it with the most basic tools: table saw, drill with dowel jig, and clamps. A useful, relatively simple project.

Closed the table measures 64" long, 36" wide, and 29" tall; leaf is 24" wide. Plans detail the materials you need, assembly diagrams, photographs, and written instructions.
